-SBR (Styrene butadiene rubber)

General purpose rubber having better abrasion resistance, poorer low-temperature behavior, lower elasticity, better aging and heat resistance, excellent electrical insulation material. Used in tire industry, conveyor belts, seals, technical rubber products

Resilience, Room Temperature: Good
Resilience, Hot: Good
Tear Resistance: Fair - Good
Abrasion Resistance: Good - Excellent

-BR (Butadiene rubber)

It is combined with SBR or NR. It is flexible at low temperatures and has got good elasticity. Used in tires, clutches, engine bearings, conveyor belts, technical products, drinking water seals .

-IR (Isoprene rubber)

IR is a more uniform, cleaner, transparent rubber. It is a synthetic rubber that is the closest of all synthetic rubbers in duplicating many of the physical properties of natural rubber. Used in technical products, like construction sections, heating hoses, cooling hoses for vehicles, high-performance tires, foodstuffs utensils.

Resilience, Room Temperature: Excellent
Resilience, Hot: Excellent
Tear Resistance: Excellent
Abrasion Resistance: Excellent

-NBR (Nitrile Butadiene rubber)

This rubber has fuel and oil resistance, good temperature properties, and abrasion resistance. Used in motor vehicle parts, oil hoses, technical products, mats, plates, seals, rollers, aircraft hoses and gaskets.

Resilience, Room Temperature: Fair
Resilience, Hot: Fair
Tear Resistance: Fair
Abrasion Resistance: Excellent

-CR (Chloroprene rubber)

CR is another synthetic rubber known for its resistance to oils, oxidation, ozone and flame. It is resistant to grease, flame retardant, and also resistant to oil, aging, abrasion, and weathering. Used in conveyor belts, drive belts, clutches, all types of technical products, cables, pneumatic suspension systems.

Resilience, Room Temperature: Good
Resilience, Hot: Good
Tear Resistance: Good
Abrasion Resistance: Excellent

-IIR (Butyl rubber)

This rubber is resistant to aging, ozone, and chemicals. It has good mechanical and insulation properties. It has low permeability to gases and is abrasion resistance. Used in automotive hoses, seals, membranes, tire inner liners, rubberized fabrics, hoses, and cable insulation.

Resilience, Room Temperature: Poor
Resilience, Hot: Good
Tear Resistance: Good
Abrasion Resistance: Fair - Good

-EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer)

EPDM's biggest advantages lie in how weatherproof it is outdoors. It can resist abrasion, UV rays, ozone, aging, and weather, and it's the most waterproof rubber available. EPDM is also steam resistant, functioning in up to 392 degrees F (200 C) without air, and chemical resistant, including polar fluids.

Resilience, Room Temperature: Good - Excellent
Resilience, Hot: Good - Excellent
Tear Resistance: Fair - Good
Abrasion Resistance: Good

-HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile)

Hydrogenated nitrile rubber compounds exhibit better oil and chemical resistance than nitrile rubbers and can withstand much higher temperatures. HNBR has excellent resistance to oils, fuels, many chemicals, steam, and ozone. It also offers exceptional tensile and tears strength, elongation, and abrasion resistance.

-FKM (Fluorocarbon)

FKM is a fluoroelastomer material capable of handling a diverse array of applications. This durable synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer elastomer offers exceptional temperature stability ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to +205 degrees Celsius. It is used in o-rings, seals, gaskets, diaphragms, pump impellers, tubing, and high-vacuum and radiation equipment.

Resilience, Room Temperature: Poor
Resilience, Hot: Fair
Tear Resistance: Good
Abrasion Resistance: Good

-ACM (Acrylic Rubber)

Acrylic rubber is a type of synthetic rubber containing acrylonitrile. The outstanding property of this rubber is its resistance to hot oil and to oxidation. This Rubber is suitable for continuous use at temperatures up to 150 degrees Celsius and at intermittent exposure up to about 180 degrees Celcius.

-Excellent heat resistance and resilience
-Excellent oxidation resistance
-Excellent resistance to diluted acid
-Good resistance to abrasion
